Cashew Alfredo Pasta

This is the only alfredo sauce Ill ever need. Is so creamy and tasty plus it is a simple and quick recipe for those lazy night when all you wat is a bowl of pasta and call it a day. This recipe requires only 6 ingredients and 25 min to make. This is the perfect dairy free alternative to the traditional alfredo pasta. Lets get to it

Serves: 4 – 6

Prep time: 25 min

Cooking time: 5 min


1 1/2 Cup raw cashews soaked. ( Soak them over night or for 25 min in hot water.)

3-4 tbsp nutritional yeast

2 garlic cloves os garlic, minced or crushed.

1/2 tsp salt2 tbsp vegan parmesan cheese

1-2 cup unsweetened almond milk

pepper to taste


  1. Soak cashews over night or for 25 min in very hot water. Drain them well.

  2. Add cashews, nutritional yeast, garlic, pepper, salt and parmesan and 1 cup of the almond milk. Blend until its smooth and creamy. Add the rest of the almond milk gradually until you reach the texture you desire. (* I use 1 1/2  cup but this depends in the quality of the cashews. If you need to make it creamier add more almond milk.)

  3. Transfer the mixture to a skillet and cook in low heat for 5 min.

  4. Add more almond milk if you want to make it more thin.Finally add your choice of pasta or zucchini noodles and enjoy!
