3 Ingredient Choc Mousse

This fluffy healthy chocolate mousse is made with only 3 plant based ingredients and it will teach you how to use that liquid in chickpeas or bean cans. This is the healthier version of a regular chocolate mousse and you can make it in only 15 min.

This sweet treat is very easy and simple to make and you don’t need any fancy ingredients to have the healthiest choc mousse you will ever have, except if you have tried my avocado mousse that is ! The difference from this recipe and my avocado chocolate mousse is this 3 ingredient choc mousse is a great option for those looking for a low fat dessert.

3 Ingredient Choc Mousse

Serves: 2-3

Prep Time: 15 min

Set Time: 30 min


  • 1 Cup aquafaba ( Liquid of 1 can fo chickpeas)

  • 1 Cup ( 120 gr) Chopped dark chocolate

  • 2 Tbsp agave or maple syrup.


  1. Place chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 15 sec intervals until is completely melted. Alternative place bowl on top of a small top with boiling water and steam until chocolate is melted.

  2. Once chocolate is melted add sweetener and whisk until well combined

  3. Place aquafaba in a glass or metal bowl and whisk with a hand blender until its fluffy and thick picks are formed. about 7 min You will know aquafaba is ready when you can turn round your bowl with out it dropping.

  4. When the aquafaba is ready slowly add chocolate and fold very lightly with a spatula. ( Avoid over folding or the mousse will loose its fluffiness)

  5. Transfer to a jar and place on the fridge for 30 min to cool and set. Add cacao nibs or coconut cream for the ultimate sweet treat.
